COURSE DESCRIPTION
In a world that is becoming rapidly more interconnected culturally, economically and ecologically, investigating our personal conditioning and social norms allows us to make more holistic and systems intelligent decisions.
The Addressing Unconscious Bias session is designed to upskill participants to understand and address the universal phenomena of unconscious bias in a way that is empowering and engaging. Participants will be equipped with an understanding of how unconscious bias comes to exist in the first place, why we all have it, as well as personal and organisation tools and mechanisms for mitigating bias in process and planning.
The reverberating impacts of proactively acknowledging and addressing our bias will inspire your whole team and help create an enhanced sense of connectedness, creativity, workplace productivity and social cohesion with lasting effects on your organisational culture.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Erfan Daliri is a social change educator and consultant with 20 years of experience and a Masters in Communication for Social Change. Over the past two decades, he has worked in settlement services, cross-cultural communication, anti-racism training and human rights advocacy, to community development, youth empowerment, mental health services and sustainability. Combining his skills as a poet & spoken word artist with his systems-thinking for social change methodology, Erfan is known for his unique and powerful teaching style that ensures his clients create the lasting and impactful change they want to make.
